I am a proud Carolina Girl. Born in Charlotte and now raising my family in Myrtle Beach SC. I ventured to California and Texas along the way. As lovely as they are, I was - more often than not- "Gone to Carolina in my Mind." I was lucky enough to hear James Taylor sing his famous song live many times , first in small venues and then larger ones. This locket is very sweet to me. It features a lovely blue bird handpainted by me, dangling just above. The locket measures 27mm and opens to the song lyrics. It hangs on a 20 inch brass chain.
